Johanna's Turn

It seems like these "watch days" all look the same. Somehow in our mind Johanna stays the same age, has the same voice, has the same baby face. When I put together our scrap book for this past year, I went back and saw all these "watch day" pictures. I was shocked how much Johanna has changed.

I don't like to use the word 'mature' for my seven year old, but that is exactly the difference.

No more falls during her leaps.  Not as much stomping during her hops.

I'm so thankful for my reminders that time goes by in a blink.

I can picture myself as an old lady pouring over these, remembering when they were little.
