Peonies

I've been bit by the planting bug.  I can't get enough of everything that is blooming, so I'm planting and planning for next year.  I've never planted anything before this year.  Most of it has ended up being just a learning experience. But, our peonies survived and BLOOMED.

I have wanted peonies for years and as the few blooms opened, I could have shed a tear.
They are so gorgeous.

So, maybe the willow tree won't make it...
Our wildflowers couldn't get enough light...
The pretty little potted plants couldn't take all of the sun on our back deck...

We got these blooms!!!!
And we can't wait for them next year.
