Family Christmas

We celebrated Christmas Eve with our second annual James family tennis time.  We had dinner at El Rancho Grande with Grammy, Papaw, Grandma Trudy, Chad, and Stephanie and then headed to the Christmas Eve service.  Chip was in the video during the service and had managed to keep it a secret from the girls.  It took them a minute to figure out it was him, but they were so surprised and thought it was so fun.  The Christmas Eve service is always our favorite and it snows at the end!

Christmas morning we celebrated with just the five of us, then headed to Gigi and Faja's for the Big Family Christmas.  The kids each got treasure chests filled with goodies and we had my favorite food in the world, egg casserole.  Grammy and the James gang came to our house for Christmas dinner on the patio in front of the fire.  We face timed with Casey and the kids while our kids opened their gifts.  I don't usually mention much about the gifting because it seems less important than the family parts.  Shi was KILLING me with his reaction to his gifts so it must be mentioned.  Each gift he opened he would pause and say "Oh, I don't want that".  I would explain what the gift was and how fun it would be or how he actually had told me he wanted it.  He would follow that up with , "Oh yeah, I actually do want that!".  

We are so very thankful for such an amazing Christmas together.  

We couldn't feel more blessed.
